Martha Muyskens and Henry J. Fennema were married June 19, 1911 and were the parents of a daughter and two sons. The daughter passed away in infancy.
She is survived by her husband, Henry J. Fennema and two sons, John of Alton and William of Ledyard, Iowa., six grandchildren and the following brothers and sisters:
Peter Muyskens of Albert Lea, Minnesota
Mrs John Korver (Kate) of Oakland, California
Marie and Dr. William Muyskens, of Detroit, Michigan
She was preceded in death by her daughter and five brothers and two sisters, including the Revs. John and Arie Muyskens, both of Philadelphia, PA, Cornelius Muyskens and Mrs. Anna Bekman, both of Orange City, Gerrit and Dick Muyskens of Alton, and Mrs. Coba Menning or Monroe, South Dakota.
Mrs. Fennema spent her entire married life in the Alton community. She was a member of the Reformed Church of Alton and had at one time been active in the Sunday School as a teacher. She was a life member of the Missionary Society.
Services will be held Thursday, May 4, 1950 at 1:30 at the John Fennema home and at 2 p.m. at the Reformed Church. Burial will be at Nassau Township cemetery.
From a pioneer family well known in many fields of labor, Mrs. Fennema is remembered. Mrs Fennema chose to remain during her entire lifetime in this community. Of kindly and cheerful disposition, she was loved by many friends, who entend the family healthfelt sympathy.

Gravesite Details
I have searched this entire cemetery on several occasions and there is no headstone for Henry & Martha Fennema. They are buried here but the marker is not to be found.
