John Cymbalak. 81, of Fort Myers Fla., formerly of Ambridge, died Friday, March 28, 1997, in Fort Myers, Fla., where he resided with his daughter Janice Black since 1990.
Born Feb. 20, 1916, in Leetsdale, he was the son of the late Michael and Katherine Evanus Cymbalak. He retired from the J&L Aliquippa Works, in the Mill Department. He was a member of SS. Peter and Paul Ukrainian Catholic Church, and a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Mildred Cymbalak in 1960, and his second wife, Pally Ruth (Bryant) Cymbalak in 1992; a son, Nick Cymbalak, and two brothers, William and Metro Cymbalak.
Surviving is a son, John Cymbalak, Gulf Breeze, Fla.; a step-son, D. Nickolas Guy Levato, Indian Atlantic, Fla. ; five daughters, Audrey Rodriguez, Baton Rouge, La.; Janice Black, Fort Myers, Fla.; Maryann Shepherd, Aurora, Colo.; Mildred Jackson, Williston, S.C., and Marcie Jean, Melbourne, Fla.; three step-daughters, Sandra Patterson, Arvada, Colo.; Nikki McCormish, Beaver Falls, and Cheryl Perciaville, Glenwillard, Pa; 18 grandchildren; eight step-grand children; 11 great-grandchildren; two
step-great-granchildren, and a sister, Ann McNavish, Greenville , Ohio .
Friends are being received today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the KENNETH E. HARE FUNERAL HOME, 500 Park Road, Ambridge, where a service will be conducted Monday at 9:30 a.m. The Rev. Father Alex Ganzy will officiate.
Interment will follow in SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery , Ambridge.
A Parastas service will be held this evening at 7 p.m. in the funeral home.
