Myrtle Covel of International Falls, Minnesota died Thursday, September 18, 2008 at her home in the Falls. Myrtle was 78 years of age.
Born February 19, 1930 at Sprucedale, Ontario, Canada to Rose Russell and George Marshall.
She was united in marriage to Marvin Stanley Covel.
Myrtle worked for over 18 years as the lunch and playground supervisor at the Falls Elementary School. In her spare time she enjoyed blueberry picking and spending time with her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents Rose and George Marshall, her husband Marvin Covel, brothers; Gib Marshall, Stanley Marshall, and Orn Marshall, her sisters; Florence Lindley, Mary Marshall, and her Son-in-law James Deleonardis.
Myrtle is survived by her son Allan (Pam) Covel of International Falls, Minnesota and her daughters; Linda Deleonardis of Lexington, S.C., Carol (Terry) McGuire of Littlefork, MN, and Kelly (Steve) Fox of International Falls, Minnesota. 10 grandchildren; Stephanie & Paul Dremmel, Amy & Troy Basaraba, Tara & Scott Leseman, Trisha & Jared Curry, Tommy McGuire, Troy McGuire & Vicki Meyers, Matthew Covel, Charlie Covel, Tyler Covel and Logan Covel, 10 great-grandchildren; Bradyn Dremmel, Maxwell Dremmel, Nathaniel Dremmel, Landon Basaraba, Lauren Basaraba, Carter Leseman, Jade McGuire, Natasha McGuire, Eugena McGuire and McKenzi Curry. Green-Larsen Mortuary at 11:00 a.m.
Interment will be in the Forest Hill Cemetery, International Falls, Minnesota.
