NELSONVILLE - Mrs. Florence Archer, 76, wife of George Archer Sr., of Murray City, died Friday at Mount St Mary Hospital where she had been recieving treatment for the past 10 days.
Mrs. Archer was a native of England. In Murray City, she was a member of the Pythian Sisters and Pocahontas Order, and of the Auxiliary Unit of Murray Post, American Legion.
Surviving besides her husband are three sons, George Jr., Murray City, Joseph C., Columbus, and Gilbert, of Dresden; one daughter, Mrs. Ann Hull, Fremont, Ohio; one brother, George Beard, Bridgeport, Ohio; also 12 grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. One daughter, Mrs. Maggie Giffen, preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be held at the Methodist Church in Murray City, Sundat at 2:30 pm with burial in Green Lawn Cemetery. Friends may call at the family residence at any time.
