Margaret A. Mills
Margaret A. Mills, daughter of Wyatt H. and Mary Dana Landers Allen, was born October 18, 1902 in Goodrich, North Dakota. She departed this life February 28, 1993 in the Breech Medical Center in Lebanon, Missouri at the age of ninety years, four months and ten days.
On September 23, 1934 she was united in marriage to James R. Mills, who preceded her in death on December 13, 1983. She was also preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Issac and Forrest; two sisters, Inez and Bessie. Margaret is survived by three brothers, Kenneth Allen of Lebanon, Missouri, Edgar "Bill" Allen, of Longview, Texas and John Allen, of Kansas City, Missouri; a number of nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
She was born in North Dakota and then moved with her family to the Brush Creek community in 1910. She lived most of her life in the Lebanon area and was a devoted homemaker. For a time, after she was first married, she worked at the Rice Stix Factory.
Margaret was a member of the First United Methodist Church and had enjoyed her fellowship there for as long as her health would allow.
She enjoyed working in her garden and growing beautiful flowers.
Margaret will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by all her family and many friends.
