Born October 16, 1910, in Russell, Kan., she lived with her family in Kansas City, Kan., and Kansas City, Mo., until moving at the age of 8 to Powell, Wyo. When she was 13 years old, the family moved to Eden. She married George Steinmetz Jr. in Eden on October 17, 1926. He died on Dec. 4, 1980.
She was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Eden.
Surviving are: two sons, Charles Steinmetz of Eden and Harold Steinmetz of Jerome; a daughter, Dorothy Shobe of Apache Junction, Ariz.; 10 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Leo Tripple and Ted Tripple, both of Twin Falls; and two sisters, Clara Minic of Mountain Home and Hilda Thaete of Filer.
The funeral will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. in White Mortuary Chapel in Twin Falls, with the Rev. Dale Heinlein officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park.
Friends may call at the mortuary today and Monday from 5 to 8 p.m., and until the time of the service on Tuesday.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the American Heart Association.
