Margaret Marie Magee Alder Evans, 75, died on February 7, 1990 at Cottonwood Hospital in Murray City.

Born December 10, 1914 in Pasadena, California to James E. and Inez Clarissa Cable Magee.

Married A. Burton Alder on October 28, 1935 in Bakersfield, California. Later solemnmized in the Provo LDS Temple. He died on November 11, 1972. Married John Isaac Evans on December 10, 1978 in the Provo Temple. He died.

Active member of the LDS Church and served a mission in the Hartford, Connecticut Mission. Worked in the Genealogical Extraction Program. She resided in Midway and Wasatch County all her married life and worked as a beautician for many years. Margaret's greatest joy was her children and grandchildren. She loved them and spent her life welcoming them into her home. She always was made to feel like a sister by the Alder family.

Survived by children: Inez and LaVar Wilde, Mary and Jerry Walton, all of Murray; Jane and Fred A. Mangum, Orem; Burton and Sheri Alder, Wellsville, Cache County; 12 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; six step children; and many step grandchildren; brothers and sisters: Edythe Van Bever, Phyllis and L. H. Bryant, all of Bakersfield, California; James and Claudean Magee, Blythe, California; Raymond and Jean Magee, Lucerne, California.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday at 12 noon at the Midway 1st Ward Chapel. Friends may call at Olpin Mortuary in Heber City on Friday from 7-9 p.m. and at the Church on Saturday one hour prior to the services.
Burial: Midway Cemetery.
