Anna Marie CRAWFORD was the 10th of 11 children born to Jasper Newton CRAWFORD and Abigail Serepta ROBBINS 24 July 1885 in Fairfield Township, Fayette County, Iowa. Whether she was born in or just near Brush Creek in Fairfield Township is unknown. Brush Creek was renamed Arlington in 1895.

The Sunday 22 Jan 1911 edition of Galveston Daily News "Society News Over the State" for Corpus Christi provided the following information regarding Anna's marriage to Phillip PERKINS.
