The Greenwood Commonwealth, November 13, 2008: Services for Earnest Parker of Greenwood will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Pleasant Plain Missionary Baptist Church.
Mr. Parker, 95, died of heart failure Tuesday, Nov. 4, 2008, at Greenwood Leflore Hospital.
He was a laborer and was a member and deacon at Pleasant Plain.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Letha Parker.
He is survived by two daughters, Darlene Nichols Crigler and Ayeshan Nichols Johnson, both of Greenwood; and three sisters, Lula Mae Price, Henrietta Lester and Mary Alice Williams, all of St. Louis, Mo.
The Rev. Phillip McGee Sr. will officiate at the services.
Burial will be in Hogue Cemetery in Carrollton.
