Allie Railey was first married to Henry Dylan Stillwell, who died of typhoid fever. Her second husband, Elisha Hilton also died of typhoid fever. She did not marry a third time.

She lived in a house on Railey Rd. (later renamed to Cordova Road). The house fell into disrepair in the 21st century and is no longer standing.

During her last few days in the hospital, she told visitors that she would live to her 100th birthday and then be ready to leave. She died the day after her birthday.

Her father James W. Railey migrated from Lizella, Bibb County, Georgia to Desoto Parish in the late 1880s. Many other families also migrated from Bibb County to Desoto Parish.
