Izear Webb was born August 26, 1926 to William and Hannah Thomas Webb of Tuskegee, Alabama. He was their last living child.

Shortly after his marriage to his wife, Irene, they moved to Trevose, Pennsylvania where they served faithfully at Huntingdon Valley Baptist Church until they returned to their birthplace of Tuskegee, Alabama. After returning home, they joined Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church where he served as a deacon and later Chairman of the Deacon Board.

Izear entered into eternal rest on June 18, 2008 at Jackson Hospital in Montgomery, Alabama.

He was a devoted and loving husband to Irene Blue Webb and will be remembered by: two loving daughters, Viola Coles and Lyvonne Webb; five sons, Major Webb, Sidney Webb, William Webb and Izear Webb, Jr. and Wayne Thompson; son-in-law, Maurice Coles; two daughters-in-law; Anita Webb and Lorraine Webb; thirteen grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; a special thanks to Eloise Carter for many years of loving care to him and his late wife Irene.

He was the last surviving child and was preceded in death by his siblings: Carrie Harris, Sarah Glenn, Glister Webb,, Milton Webb, Jessie Harris, Annie Kate Martin and William Webb, Jr
