Capt. David Terrell Oliver, so of Maj. Simeon Oliver and Mildred Terrell White, was the husband of Sarah Concord Frazier. He served in Company B of the 22nd Mississippi Infantry Regiment, C.S.A., during the Civil War.

"Capt. David Terrell Oliver Enlisted as 2nd Lt. Co. F. 22nd Mississippi Infantry, July 27, 1861 at Iuka, Mississippi for 3 years. November 16, 1861 elected 1st Lieutenant. November 12, 1862 promoted to Captain. Captured at Vicksburg, Mississippi July 4, 1863 and exchanged in September, 1863. Killed at Franklin, Tennessee on November 30, 1864."
