Funeral services for Iona W. Hamilton, 69, of 29 Ober St., Massena, are being held today at 2 p.m. at the Donaldson Funeral Home in Massena with Rev. George H. Easter officiating. Burial will be in the Pine Grove Cemetery. Massena in the spring.
Mrs. Hamilton died Tuesday, March 11, 1980 at the Massena Memorial Hospital, where she had been a patient since March 4.
Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Thelma Mayne, Heuvelton; Mrs. Gerald (Helen) Castagnier, Bradenton, Fla.; a step-daughter, Mrs. Anthony (Gretchen) Parisian, North Ridge, Calif.;
several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was born in Louisville, January 31, 1911. daughter of Robert and Gertrude Mackie Weaver. She attended Louisville and Massena schools. She married Pryor A. (Bruce) Hamilton on July 2, 1930 in Alberg, VT Mr. Hamilton died January 11, 1976.
She was employed as a bookkeeper at the John Roof Jewelry Store, Massena.
