Schenectady Gazette - Mrs. Allen Bernstein Succumbs in Hospital – Richmondville, NY Nov 7, 1938 – Mrs. Allan Bernstein (Nellie Dibble) became seriously ill Sunday afternoon and was rushed to the Cooperstown hospital where she lived only a short time. Mrs. Bernstein has been in poor health for some time but the condition became acute only a few hours before her death. The funeral arrangement was not made yet tonight.

Utica Daily Press, Tuesday, November 8, 1938, ~ Mrs. Nellie Bernstein ~ Cooperstown ~ Mrs. Nellie Bernstein, 43, wife of Allen Bernstein, Richmondville, died in Bassett Hospital of heart failure on Nov. 6, 1938, a few hours after being admitted. She was born in Richmondville and was the daughter of Charles and Carrie Miller Dibble.

Nellie was a sweet, neutering and loving wife and mother.

HOLD RITES FOR MRS. BERNSTEIN
RICHMONDVILLE, Nov. 10, 1938, — Funeral services for Mrs. Nellie Bernstein, who died in Cooperstown hospital, Sunday night, were conducted in St. Paul's Lutheran Church Wednesday afternoon by Rev. Morris C. Skinner of Cobleskill. Mrs. Bernstein was the wife of Allen Bernstein and daughter of the late Charles and Carrie Miller Dibble of this village. Surviving, besides her husband, is one son, Clarence, of Argusville; one sister, Mrs. Edwin J. Rivenburg and three brothers, Leroy, Fred and Ray, all of this village; and several nieces and nephews.
