Funeral services for Mrs. George Pasfield, sr., who died at 1:30 o'clock yesterday morning at her home, 421 South Pasfield street, following a stroke of apoplexy, will be held tomorrow afternoon at the First Christian church. The remains will be interred in Oak Ridge cemetery. The death of Mrs. Pasfield followed an illness of only one day.
Deceased was born Nov. 13, 1841, in Sangamon county, and was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William S. Pickrell. She was married Sept. 19, 1866, at Mechanicsburg to Dr. George Pasfield. Mrs. Pasfield had resided in this county all her life. She was a consistent member of the First Christian church and a member of the board of lady managers of the Home for the Friendless.
Surviving are her husband, Dr. George Pasfield, sr.; one daughter, Mrs. George N. Kreider, of this city; two sons, George Pasfield, jr., of this city, and Arthur Pasfield of Kansas City; one sister, Mrs. Alex Lockridge, of Green Castle Ind., and two brothers, William Pickrell, of Phoenix, Ariz., and Arthur A. Pickrell of Lincoln, Ill.
