Died, at 10:40 o'clock Sunday morning, Jan. 5, 1913, at the family residence, 216 West Jefferson street, after a lingering illness of tuberculosis, Charles Ward, aged 49 years. The deceased was employed as a wagon driver for the Striffler Ice & Coal company for the past thirty years. He is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Rose Smith of Forest Park and Miss Kate Ward of this city, and one brother, Frank Ward of this city. IL State Register, Springfield, IL 1-6-1913
