Rebecca Pruitt, 29, of Laurel, died Sunday Nov. 23, 2008, at her residence. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 29 at Memory Chapel Funeral Home. Dr. Wayne Shelton will officiate. A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Brewer Baptist Church in Richton. A private graveside service will e 4 p.m. Sunday at Frisco Cemetery in Richton.Mrs. Pruitt was a Second Grade Teacher at Mason Elementary School. She was a member of Brewer Baptist Church in Richton, Ms. She is survived by her husband, Kenneth Pruitt of Laurel; her parents, Dr. Ronald C. Aug.2009,Kenya Davis, pleaded guilty to murder and was sentenced to life in prison with the possibility of parole.
Nov.2009, Ricky Gavin,pleaded guilty to murder and was sentenced to life without parole.
