Robert "Robbie" Baxter, 14, of Afton, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, November 25, 2008, as a result of an accident. He is survived by his parents, Chrissy and Joseph Baxter Sr., Afton; brothers, Joseph Jr., James and Kyle; his sisters, Ashley Page, Sequoia Dominie; two stepsisters, Angel and Jessica Baxter; grandmother, Beverly Baxter, Harpursville; grandfathers, Melvin Stone, Bainbridge, Albert Bishop, Pa.; stepmom, Kim Rusnak; stepfather, Bob Way Jr.; a special aunt and uncle, Lisa and Jason Page; along with many aunts, uncles, cousins and other family. Robbie attended Trout Creek BOCES.
Funeral Service will be held at Afton Baptist Church, Caswell Street, Afton on Monday at 11 a.m. Pastor Christopher Prezorski will officiate. The family will receive friends at the Osterhoudt-Madden Funeral Home, 69-71 Maple Street, Harpursville, on Sunday from 2 to 5 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Robbie Baxter Fund, c/o NBT Bank, 182 Main Street, POB 27 Afton, N.Y. 13730.
