Mrs. Marjorie "Bill" McQuagge, 86, of Panama City, Fla., passed away Saturday, July 10, 2004, at a local nursing facility. She had been a resident of the local area since 1934, moving here from Moultrie, Ga. She was a charter member of Grace Presbyterian Church. As a member, she was a Bible leader and active on many committees. Mrs. McQuagge was a former member of Wallace Memorial Presbyterian Church and served as an elder. She was a past president of the Women of the Church and received life membership awards from Wallace Memorial and Florida Presbytery. She was also a member of the Panama City Woman's Club, Lions Auxiliary, Bay Medical Auxiliary and many bridge clubs. Mrs. McQuagge is survived by her son, William Duncan McQuagge of Panama City, Fla.; three grandchildren, Martin Bell, Lisa Bell Jankowski and her husband, Matty, of Panama City and Sunny McQuagge Quigley and her husband, Mike, of Magalia, Calif.; one greatgrandson, Connor Quigley; one sister, Frances D. Jennings of Lynn Haven, Fla.; one brother, William Jackson Duncan and his wife, Ada, of Roseburg, Ore.; sisters-in-law, Margaret and Evelyn Duncan of Panama City, Fla. and Jessie Duncan of Quitman, Ga.; and numerous nieces and nephew. Mrs. McQuagge was preceded in death by her parents, J. T. and Bobbie Duncan; her husband of 43 years, H. Savely McQuagge; her daughter, Susan McQuagge Bell; her sisters, Louise and Eularee; and brothers, Lester, Rignal, J. T., Bob and Joe Duncan. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, July 14, 2004, at Grace Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Tully Hunter officiating.
