Funeral services for Natile Gibson Sanders, 103, of Hornbeck were held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 28, 2006, at the Grace Assembly of God Church in Hornbeck, Rev. Steve Day officiated. Burial followed in the Prewitt's Cemetery in Hornbeck under the direction of the Labby Memorial Funeral Home of Leesville. Ms. Sanders died Monday, Sept. 26, 2006, in the Oak Grove Nursing Home in Groves, Texas. She was born in Evangeline. She is survived by one son, Carroll Gibson of Pickering; one daughter, Norma Ridgeway of Port Arthur, Texas, 13 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren, 45 great-great grandchildren and five great-great-great grandchildren.
