Ursula (Morich) Petrello, 68, of Largo, FL and formerly of East Hartford, journeyed home on Saturday (December 6, 2008) at the Largo Medical Center in Largo, FL. She was the loving wife of many years to the late Albert Petrello, Sr.


Born in Germany on May 6, 1940, a daughter of the late Walter and Elizabeth (Funk) Morich, Ursula had lived in East Hartford for over 40 years prior to moving to Florida 10 years ago. Prior to her retirement, Ursula worked at area Whole Donut Shops and the former Grants Department Store. Ursula enjoyed working and spending much time on her computer as well as going to the beach and pool, tanning, shopping, and cooking. However, her greatest joy was being a proud grandmother and caring for her grandchildren and great-granddaughter.


Along with her beloved husband and parents, she was predeceased by a son-in-law, Ronald Munn, Jr. of East Hartford. Ursula is survived by two sons, Albert Petrello, Jr. of Port St. Lucie, FL, and Stephen M. Petrello of Ashford; two daughters, Susan Munn of East Hartford, and Heidi Petrello and her companion, Michael Morelli, of Largo, FL with whom she made her home; a twin sister, Bridget Sward in Virginia; a daughter-in-law, Denise Dentamaro; seven special grandchildren, Jessica and Joseph Petrello, Nicole Munn, Alyssa Gagliardi and her companion, Jeremy Ornduff, Amanda and Bianca Gagliardi, and Sherrine Fantasia; three adored great-grandchildren, Riley, Caleb, and Isabella; several nieces, nephews and dear friends.


Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, December 30 at 9:30 a.m. from the D'Esopo-East Hartford Memorial Chapel, 30 Carter Street, East Hartford with a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at 10:30 a.m. at Blessed Sacrament Church, East Hartford.
Burial will be at Hillside Cemetery, East Hartford.
Relatives and Friends may call at the Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, December 29 from 4-7:30 p.m.
