Mrs. Amanda Pease, aged 81 years, died at the home of her son, F. W. Smith, in Walden, Colo., Friday June 8, 1917, of pneumonia. She was the third daughter of Dr. J. B. Fox, pioneer doctor in this city, and Amanda Fox. Surviving are two sons, F. W. Smith of Walden, Colo., and Joseph M. Smith of Springfield; one brother, T. L. Fox, of Englewood, N. Y. Funeral services at the Kumler Methodist church. Interment will be in Oak Ridge cemetery.
