Mr. William C. McClellan of Glasgow died May 8, 1989 at Philipsburg Hospital emergency room. Mr. McClellan operated a lawn mower repair shop in Glasgow since his retirement in 1972. Prior to that he was employed at Hommer Lumber Co., Glasgow, and several coal mines. He was born May 6, 1918 in Glasgow, the son of Harry W. and Mary .I (Myers) McClellan, and Sept 30, 1944, in Coalport, married Myrtle M Kruis, who died March 2,1988. Surviving are six children: Roger Kruis and Roy A. McClellan of Glasgow, Norman Noal and Frederick J. McClellan of Blandburg, C. Clyde McClellan of Irvona, and Cathy Beers of Mountaindale; 16 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Also surviving are a sister and three brothers: Vyrl Richards, Harry and George of Glasgow, and Cecil of Patton. Interment at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Glasgow. (Altoona Mirror, May 9, 1989)
