Mildred Odenthal Koehler died Thursday, Oct. 30, 2008, at her home in Sterling, Ill. Preceded in death by her husband, Walter F. "Shorty" Koehler. Survived by her son, the Rev. Jon C. Koehler, pastor of Holy Rosary Catholic Church, St. Amant; daughter, Sue Ellen Koehler, of Sterling; and two grandsons. She was born Dec. 1, 1912, in Blue Island, Ill. The funeral Mass will be at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Sterling, at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Nov. 3. Burial in Calvary Cemetery, Sterling.
