Eddyville, Dec. 18.-- William McElroy, 81 years old, died Wednesday night at 10 o'clock at his home here following an illness of ten days with pneumonia. He is survied by the following children: Carl McElroy, of Chillicothe; Mrs. Edna Emanuel, Earl McElroy and Mrs. Grace Beach, all of Ottumwa.
Private funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Van Dyke funeral home. Interment will be made in the Highland cemetery.
