The Troublesome Thirties 1930-1935 by Faye Axford: Limestone Democrat & Alabama Courier, July 21, 1932: A.B. Moyers died at his home east of Athens on 7 July and was buried in the Tanner Methodist cemetery. Born in East Tennessee in 1859, he moved to Limestone at an early age. He was survived by the widow, one son and two, daughters, Sallie and Mrs. Walter Hagemaker, three step-sons and several grandchildren.
