Mabel Rosa Davis, the daughter of William and Rosa (Lichtenberg) Ebsen, was born on December 20, 1905 at near Cedar Bluffs, Nebraska in Saunders County. She passed away on December 19, 2008 at the Good Samaritan Society in Superior, Nebraska at the age of 102 years, 11 months and 30 days.
As a very small child Mabel moved with her parents to a farm near Bostwick, Nebraska. She received most of her schooling in the Bostwick public schools, and graduated from Superior High School in 1924.
On November 19, 1936 she was married to Lloyd L. Davis of Burr Oak, Kansas.
They established their home on a farm in Jewell County Kansas, southwest of Superior.
There they lived for 33 years until retiring, when they moved into Superior in 1969.
Mabel received Jesus Christ as her Savior in the early fifties and soon became a member of the Olive Hill Church where she remained an active and faithful member.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband Lloyd on January 30, 1979, sister, Clarabel Adams and Leonard Ebsen.
Survivors include her; nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.
