Walter L. Moore, 68, of 1402 Fremont, died Friday at Research Medical Center. He was born in Portland, Mo., and lived in Kansas City 45 years. Mr. Moore was a maintenance worker for the Koppers Company, Inc., 45 years before he retired in 1973. He was a member of the Blue Ridge Assembly of God Church. He was an Army veteran of World War II. He leaves his wife, Mrs. Clora Ellen Moore of the home; a stepson, Virgil E. Silvey, Lake Lotawana; three sisters, Mrs. Elvira A. Honea, 6215 E. 35th; Mrs. Susan H. Mathews, 6217 E. 35th, and Mrs. Isabelle Stanbrough, Kansas City, and eight grandchildren. Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at the Earp Truman Road Chapel; burial in Forest Hill Cemetery.
