Augusta Isabelle Stanbrough, 71, Independence, died Monday, Aug. 22, 1988, at St. Luke's Hospital.
Mrs. Stanbrough was born in Mokane, Mo., and lived in this area most of her life. She was a member of the Grandview Assembly of God Church, 12400 Grandview Road.
Her survivors include her husband, Orva W. Stanbrough of the home; two sons, Walter L. Stanbrough Sr., Long Beach, Calif., and Orva W. Stanbrough III, Kansas City; three daughters, Cecelia Davis, Kansas City, Viola Littau, Raytown, and Susan DeBrot, Independence; two sisters, Elvira Honea and Susan Mathews, both of Kansas City; and nine grandchildren.
Services will be 10 a.m. Thursday at the Earp Blue Ridge Chapel; burial in Forest Hill Cemetery. Friends may call from 7 to 8:30 tonight at the chapel. The family suggests contributions to Cancer Action Inc. -The Examiner, Wed. Aug. 24, 1988
