JACK V. PARISOT, 74, died Friday, Oct. 24, 2003, at Parkview Whitley Hospital in Columbia City. Born in Fort Wayne, he moved to Churubusco from Big Lake in 1978.
He was a Navy veteran of the Korean conflict, and was a retired self-employed carpenter. His wife, Barbara J., died in 1995.
Surviving are daughters, Caroline Meyer and Deborah Rollins, both of Churubusco; son Wayne (Carol) Ertel of Ventura, Calif; brothers, Ron and Dan, both of Fort Wayne; sister, Betty Elder of Fort Wayne; 11 grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren. A son, Joseph Michael Ertel, died in 1968.
Service is 10 a.m. Wednesday at Sheets & Childs Funeral Home, with visitation from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the mortuary. Burial in Thorn Cemetery at Ormas, with military graveside rites. Memorials to Churubusco American Legion Post 157 or Churubusco VFW Post 3846.
