RONALD S. PARISOT, age 70, of Avilla died on Thursday, August 16, 2012 at New Haven Care and Rehabilitation Center in New Haven, Indiana. Mr. Parisot was born in Fort Wayne, Indiana on January 3, 1942 to the late Clarence and Edith (McSweeney) Parisot.

He honorably served his country in the United States Army. Ron married Sandra Lee (Walters) Gambrell on September 14, 1979 in Fort Wayne. Ron was the maintenance supervisor and employed with the Fort Wayne Parks and Recreation Department for 35 years. He was a member of the Emmanuel Lutheran Church in LaOtto.

Survivors include his wife, Sandra Parisot of Avilla, son, Robert Parisot of Fort Wayne, son, Keith Parisot of Hollywood, California, step-son, Kevin Gambrell of Fort Wayne, step-daughter, Tammy White of Ossian, two grandsons, Ross and Jared Gambrell, and two granddaughters, Brittany Gutierrez and Heather White.

He was also preceded in death by his sister, Betty Elder and his brothers, Dan Parisot, Jack Parisot, David Parisot

Memorial services will be Saturday, September 8, 2012 at 1:00pm at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in LaOtto with Rev. David Stephey officiating. Preferred memorials may be made to the Parisot family.
