Anton Hinchen, 79, of 968 Bluff, died at 7:30pm Friday at Mercy Hospital after a month's illness.
Friends may call afternoon Sunday at the Hoffmann Mortuary. Funeral services will be held at 9am Monday at St. Mary's Church. The Rev. Bob Rahe will officiate at the Requiem High Mass. Burial will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
He was born in Otter Creek, Iowa, son of Theodore and Anna Wagner Hingtgen and resided in this community most of his life. Mr. Hinchen was a millworker and was last employed at the Metz Mfg Co.
Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Mary Ann Gerber, Maquoketa, Ia., and Mrs. Susan Krier, Del Rapids, S.D., and three brothers, John Hingtgen, Dubuque, Nicholas Hingtgen, Bellevue, IA., and Theodore Hingtgen, Otter Creek.
St. Mary's Parish rosary will be recited at the mortuary at 7:30pm Sunday.

The funeral will be held from the Hoffmann Mortuary to St. Mary's Church Monday morning at 9 o'clock. Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery.
