Margaret O'Neill 'Peggy' Dudley, the wife of Liberty Bowl founder Ambrose Francis 'Bud' Dudley Jr., died of lymphoma Thursday at her Memphis home. She was 74. Mrs. Dudley was a fixture at not only the annual post-season college football match-ups but also at social events the week of the game and throughout the year. Mrs. Dudley also leaves five daughters, Dianne D. Trainor, Jane D. Sadler and Tama D. Harris, all of Memphis, Peggy D. Gardner of Jackson, Miss., and Mary E. Dudley of Sea Grove Beach, Fla.; a son, Frank Dudley of Memphis, and 10 grandchildren. Mass will be said at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Louis Catholic Church, where she was a communicant, with burial in Memorial Park. Canale Funeral Directors has charge.
