LIFE SKETCH OF OLIVER PLETCHER

Oliver E. Pletcher, son of Daniel and Soloma Pletcher, was born in Hamilton county, Indiana, July 2, 1880, and died Monday afternoon, January 11, 1932, at his home north of Goldfield, Iowa, at the age of 51 years, 5 months, 9 days. He had been in falling health for many months suffering greatly at times. In the year 1885 he came with his parents to Wright Co. Iowa, where he remained until the end. On October 1, 1901, he was united in marriage to Dora Youngs and to them were born six children, of whom five are living. Hazel preceded him in death on Feb. 8 [1], 1910 at the age of four years. He is survived by a loving wife and five children, Mrs. Carl Kelling of Renwick, Fern, Lydla, Evelyn, and William, all living at home. He also leaves four grandchildren, an aged mother, 4 brothers, 6 sisters, and a host of friends.
