Robert Charles Smith, 56 northeast Kansas City, died Tuesday at the home. He was born in Altoona, KS; and had lived in Kansas City 40 years. Mr. Smith was a carpet and tile layer and formerly worked for the Four Way Tile and Linoleum Co. for 20 years. He was a Marine Veteran of World War II. He leaves two sons, Charles Robert Bachar and Clint Ray Bachar of Kansas City, his father, Clint R. Smith, Eureka, KS. his mother, Mrs. Kate Smith, Deepwater, MO.,two brothers, Ray Smith, Stockton, MO., and Don Smith, Raytown, and two sisters, Mrs. Doris Buce and Mrs. Helen Sapp of Deepwater.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the Floral Hills Chapel; burial in Floral Hills Cemetery. Friends may call from 7 to 8:30 p. m. Thursday at the chapel.
