Aaron Case was at least the third generation Aaron Case.

His father was Aaron Case (1807-1852) and his mother was Lucy Ann Merritt (1810-1861).

Paternal grandparents were Abigail Olmstead (1810-1861) & Aaron Case (1807-1852).

Private US Army; Company I; Regiment 5 Wisconsin Infantry; He served and died during the Civil War. At the time of his death he was hospitalized in the 3rd Division General Hospital in Alexandria. Like many other Civil War soldiers his cause of death was listed as chronic diarrhea.
