ARMAGOST – Near Rising City, Butler Co., Neb., Bro. Eli Armagost, aged 78 years, 2 months and 15 days. He was afflicted six years with quinsy, but a few days before his death was paralyzed in the left side. He passed calmly away Aug. 5. The funeral took place at Rising Sun school-house, to the largest congregation we have seen in the West. Text, “It is appointed unto man once to die, and after that the judgment.” Services by the writer and sister Perkins (Baptist.)
