. Frank Ash, age 80, well-known retired farmer of the Noble Community, was born on September 3, 1879, near Sumner, Illinois, and departed this life on August 4, 1960. He was the son of William and Phoebe Ash. He spent most of his life in or around Noble.
. He was married to Eva Runyon in 1903. To this union was born five children, one which preceded him in death.
. At an early age, he united with the Christian Church in Noble, and later in life with the Olive Branch Methodist Church.
. He leaves his wife, Eva, and the following children, Mrs. Gwendolyn Hinterscher of Ingraham, Miss Violet Ash, Marion Ash, and Mrs. Lucille Myers of Noble. There are three grandchildren. Mr. Ash also leaves two brothers, Henry Ash of Palestine and Estus Ash of Terre Haute, Ind. In addition, there are several other relatives and many friends.

. Funeral services for Mr. Frank Ash, well known retired farm resident of Noble, will be held on Sunday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock in the Memorial Chapel of the Summers-Rainey Funeral Home with the Rev. Raymond Richardson officiating. Interment will be in the Noble cemetery.
