There is some confusion of where she is buried. Some sources say she is buried in Providence Baptist Church buried next to Skelton Coleman but no grave marker is there. Other family sources have her buried in this cemetery with her first husband Andrew Wade and some of her children.

THE HENRY BULLETIN, Friday, March 13, 1925, p. 1, col. 3 [edited]. Henry (Franklin County), March 11. Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Coleman quietly passed away Sunday evening, February 15, after a brief illness in the home of her daughter, Mrs. J. R. Patterson, at Sontag, where she made her home. She was born February 20, 1843, making her stay on earth 82 years and 5 days. She was a faithful member of the Town Creek Primitive Baptist Church. She was laid to rest in her old homestead near Henry Tuesday besides her husband who preceded her to the grave some 15 years ago. She is survived by six children and a host of other relatives.
