The funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church at Marseilles with Rev. Anthony Divan officiating. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery, Marseilles.
Friends may call after 2 p.m. Friday at the Seals-Campbell Chapel, where prayers will be recited at 7:30 p.m.
Mrs. Downey was born Nov. 8, 1888, at Lexington, a daughter of George and Harriett (Houchin) Wills. She married Edward Downey of Pontiac in 1908. He died in 1954.
She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church and was a gold star mother."
