Lola Croxton Schools, departed this life to rejoin family and friends already in heaven on January 4, 2009.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Arlington F. Schools; and her son, Elwood "Frank" Schools.
She is survived by her daughter, Ann Northern and husband, Bill; daughter-in-law, Barbara Schools; four granddaughters, Debbie and Cathie Northern, Karen Tarter, Tammy Gompper; her great-grandchildren, Colin, Caitlin, Carlin, Sarah, Lydia, David, Cole and Anna; two sisters, Vivian Douglas and Virgie Dent; devoted niece, Margie Schools; and many beloved nieces, nephews and friends.
Funeral services held at 2pm on Wednesday, January 7, 2009 at Beulah Baptist Church, with interment in Jerusalem Baptist Church Cemetery. The family received friends at the Welch Funeral Home, Marks Chapel, 10300 Richmond Road, Warsaw, VA 22572, Tuesday, January 6, 2009, from 6:30pm to 8pm.
