The body of Jacob Page, who died at the soldiers' home in Bennington Monday, was brought to this city yesterday morning by Maj. Coffey, superintendent of the home. Mr. Page was a member of company B, 2d Vermont Volunteers. He enlisted at Castleton under Capt. James Hope and served for three years. He had been at the home two years. The funeral will be held at the house, 82 Crescent street, this afternoon at 4.30 o'clock. Members of Post Roberts will take the belt line car in front of Grand Army hall at 4.10 o'clock.

Chaplain E.M. Haynes officiated. At the grave the Grand Army ritual was read. The burial was in the soldiers' lot at Evergreen cemetery.
