Obituary
Mrs. Dorothy Irene Sensenig, 77, of Blue Stone Circle, Frederick, died Friday, June 20, at Frederick Memorial Hospital.

She was the wife of Donald E. Sensenig, her husband of 56 years. They were married July 29, 1946.

Born Dec. 8, 1925, in Frederick, she was the daughter of the late Clyde Abrecht Sr. and Wilmath Adams Abrecht.

Mrs. Sensenig enjoyed vacationing at the beach and spending time with her grandchildren. She attended the Frederick First Church of the Nazarene.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by five children, Donald Eugene Sensenig Jr. and wife Joann of Martinsburg, W.Va., Dana Lee Sensenig and Darren Michael Sensenig, both of Frederick, Daryl Alan Sensenig and wife Tern of Keymar, and Diane Renee Sensenig of Frederick; seven grandchildren, Melanie Severt, Dustin Sensenig, Kelly Sensenig, Brandon Sensenig, April Sensenig, Brooke Sensenig and Hunter Sensenig; two great-grandchildren, Joshua Sensenig and Zoe Severt; two sisters, Ruth Abrecht Ruhvin and Nellie Catherine Abrecht, both of Frederick; and three brothers, Frank Abrecht of Walkersville, Gene Abrecht and wife Libby of Middletown, and Douglas Abrecht and wife Carolyn of Frederick.

She was preceded in death by five siblings, Kathryn Abrecht, Mary Shankle, Winnie Morgan, Clyde Abrecht Jr. and James Abrecht.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday, June 23, at Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick. Funeral services, will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 24, at Frederick First Church of the Nazarene, 7899 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick. The Rev. Richard G. Diffenderfer will officiate. Interment will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Frederick. Bearers will be sons, Donald E. Sensenig Jr., Dana L. Sensenig, Darren N. Sensenig and Daryl A. Sensenig; and grandsons, Kelly Sensenig, Brandon Sensenig and Dustin Sensenig. The family suggests memorial donations be made to the Frederick First Church of the Nazarene, 7899 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick, Md. 21702.
