Clyde Smith Abrecht Sr., 205 East Second street, died at Montebello State Hospital, Baltimore early this morning following an illness of four years. Aged 62 years, he was a son of the late Niles R. and Josephine F. Smith Abrecht. He was a member of the Evangelical Lutheran church and Loyal Order of Moose 371, also the Independent Hose Company. He had been employed by the Ox Fibre Brush Company for over 40 years. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Wilmoth Adams Abrecht; ten children, Mrs. James Shankle, Indian Springs; Clyde S. Abrecht, Jr., Mrs. Tobias Murphy, Mrs. Donald Sensenig, Frank M. Abrecht, James F. Abrecht, all of this city; Mrs. Elwood Morgan, Clarksburg; Miss Nellie C. Abrecht, Gene W. Abrecht, Douglas F. Abrecht, all at home; two brothers, Grayson and Robert Abrecht, both of this city; one sister, Mrs. Clifford Stockman, this city and 15 grandchildren. The body rests at the funeral home, 106 East Church street. Time of viewing and funeral services will be announced. M.R. Etchison and Son, funeral directors.
