Services for Dorothy Ann Hunsche were conducted Tuesday afternoon, Sept 28, from St. Lukes United Methodist Church, David City. Mrs. Hunsche, 64, died Friday, Sept. 24, at the Butler County Health Care Center following three weeks of hospitalization from complications of cancer.
Pastor Michael Connor officiated at the service. Music was provided by Barb Daro, soloist, accompanied by Carol Fuxa, organist. Members of the Fireman's Auxiliary attended in a body.
Pallbearers were Donald Bock, Charles Nelson, Norval Hoeft, Jon Molacek, Neil Hayhurst and Richard Kovar. Burial was in the David City Cemetery.
Dorothy Ann, the daughter of Frank and Grace Siedel, was born Feb. 16. 1929., at Rising City and then attended David City High School.
On May 15, 1949 she was united in marriage to Edwin L. Hunsche. One daughter was born to this union.
She lived in rural Butler County and in David City.
A homemaker, she was an Avon Representative and a resident supervisor for Region V. She also worked for the Nebraska Department of Social Services.
She was a member of the Methodist Church and the Fireman's Auxiliary.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Edwin L. Hunsche and and brother Gerald Siedel.
