Lillian Newsom Ross, 82, of Grenada, died Friday at Grenada Lake Medical Center.
Mrs. Ross was a retired head inspector in the seamless knitting department of Pennaco Hosiery Mill. She was a member of the Grenada Church of God.
The funeral was at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the Grenada Church of God with Bros. Frank Samples and Hulon Evans officiating. Burial was in Woodlawn Cemetery in Grenada.
Mrs. Ross was the widow of Wesley Ross.
She is survived by a daughter, Linda R. Stafford of Eupora; two brothers, Lynn Newsom of Memphis, Tenn. and Doug Newsom of Clinton; two sisters, Louise Adams of Grenada and Shirlene Young of Ita Bena; two grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
National Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
