Earlham Library Obituary Collection
Earlham, Iowa
October 1940
Orlando Taylor, youngest son of Henry and Hannah Taylor was born October 15, 1871 and passed from this life October 14, 1940. Had his life continued one day more he would have been 69 years old.
In March 1904, he and Stella Duff were united in marriage, and established their home on their own farm.
He was a good farmer and loved the woods and out door life. Failing health, for several years has kept him from the activities that were dear to his heart.
His parents, four sisters and one brother preceded him in death.
He leaves his devoted wife, one sister Mrs. Cosy Ramsey of Pasadena, California; two brothers, John of Duchesne, Utah, and Will of Earlham, besides nieces, nephews and friends.
(Burial was made in the Earlham cemetery)
