Mrs. Arline "Pinkie" Williams Etzler, 91, of New Market, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, Tuesday, April 3, 2012.

Born May 24, 1920, in Ijamsville, she was the daughter of the late Frank Stanley and Ruth Wilcom Murphy.

Arline cherished her 30 years of marriage to John E. Williams Sr., who died in 1970. They raised their six children on the family farm.

Arline was dearly loved by her family: six children and their spouses, Millie and Jim Simons, Shirley and Gary Moxley, Ruthie and Jim Welling, Doris and Wayne Storm, Judy and Larry Riggs and John E. Williams Jr. and wife Diane; 26 grandchildren, Maresa Haller, Jim Simons, Lorene Cannella, Gary Lee, John, Shary and Troy Moxley, Stacy Nalley, Sandy Moxley, Willie and Ricky Storm, Debbie Albaugh, Patti Storm Ledford, Hank and Rick Welling, Jason, Justin and Deena Storm, Shellie Storm Reed, Christina Crum, Andy Riggs, Carolyn Kennedy, Chad Hylan, Regina Howell, Lisa Williams and John E. "Sonny" Williams III; 56 great grandchildren; 14 great great grandchildren and special friend, Priscilla Spielman.

She was predeceased by two grandchildren, Mark and Jill Hylan, great grandson Joshua Picarella and a twin sister, Madeline "Bluie" Roderick and husband Harold and sister, Anna Isabell Murphy.

She remarried in 1982 and enjoyed the next seventeen years traveling with her husband, J. Robert Etzler who died in 2000.

Arline was a 1940 graduate of Frederick High School and a lifelong, active member of St. Peter the Apostle CatholicChurch of Libertytown and its Ladies Club.

She enjoyed the many friends she made volunteering with the Ladies Auxiliary of New Market and Libertytown Volunteer Fire Departments and the New Market Homemakers Club.

She was well-known in the agriculture community. She was a lifetime member of The Great Frederick Fair where she annually presented the "John E. Williams Sr. Sportsmanship Award" for the first year 4-H member.

The family will receive friends at Hartzler Funeral Home, 11802 Liberty Rd., Libertytown, 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. Saturday, April 7, with a prayer service to be held at 8:30 p.m.

A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Monday, April 9 at St. Peter's Catholic Church, withMsgr. John Dietzenbach and Rev. Fr. Jason Worley, as concelebrants. Interment will be in St. Peter's Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memo- rial contributions may be made to "The Building Fund of St. Peter's Catholic Church", P.O. Box 278, Libertytown, MD 21762.
