Services for Ella C. Stuart of Hazlehurst are 2 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 19, at Harrigill Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Hazlehurst City Cemetery.
Visitation is today from 4-9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mrs. Stuart, 78, died Sept. 16, 2001, at Professional Rehabilitation Hospital in Ferriday, La. She was born in Brookhaven on Jan. 9, 1923, to James Cupit and Mattie Coleman Cupit.
She was a cattle farm factory worker for 38 and a half years. She was a member of Pleasant Valley Methodist Church.
Preceding her in death were her parents; and her husband, J. G. Stuart.
Survivors are her daughter and son-in-law, Barbara and Woody Case of Natchez; her grandchildren, Tammy Mason Grizzle of LaVergne, Tenn., and Terry Mason of Mt. Juliet, Tenn.; and two great-grandchildren.
