VIRGINIA BEACH - Sidney R. Zedd, 84, of the block of Auburn Drive, a retired salesman, died March 20, 1992, in a Norfolk hospital.

Mr. Zedd was born in South Norfolk and had retired from Kline Chevrolet after 52 years. He was a member of B'Nai Israel Congregation in Norfolk. He was a disabled veteran of the Army during World War II, having served in the 358th Searchlight Battalion. He was a member of the American Legion; Jewish War Veterans; Knights of Pythians, Charity Lodge 10; and the Brith Sholom Lodge.

Survivors include two sisters, Rose Norad of Hampton and Bessie Z. King of Virginia Beach; and a brother Stanley Zedd of Norfolk.

A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Sunday at Mikro Kodesh Cemetery by Rabbi Israel Bornstein. Friends may join the family at 215 E. Bayview blvd., Norfolk. H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, Norfolk, is handling the arrangements. Memorial donations may be made to a favorite charity.
